My goal as your doula is to ensure that you are supported, encouraged, educated, and loved and that you receive the respectful and equitable care you deserve.

I believe every birthing person should have informed decision-making, that bodily autonomy and respect of choice is essential to your health, and that breastfeeding and lactation aren’t just about the health and safety of the baby, but about the health of a family. Because every family deserves the best possible support, I remain committed to ongoing education and training so I can continue providing thoughtful, comprehensive care throughout your journey.

My career as doula was inspired by attending the birth of my second niece nearly 18 years ago.

I was my older sister’s labor companion at the time and attended several childbirth education classes. It was during this experience that I realized how amazing and even magical the labor and birth process is. I loved supporting my sister during the experience and wanted to pursue my passion in helping others through birth work. I now get to live out my calling and build relationships during such a transformative moment in someone’s life.

As Your Doula…

I am committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based, and culturally affirming support to individuals and families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I honor each person's unique journey, advocate for informed choices, and create a nurturing space that fosters confidence, empowerment, and holistic well-being to create your own treasured experience from fertility, pregnancy, labor, birth, and beyond.

The Bijoux Experience

When I’m supporting my clients, I have a deep understanding and respect for this very intimate and sacred time in their lives. Every birth and postpartum experience is as different as the clients I get to serve. My intention with each family I get to work with is to listen to your concerns, needs, and desires for your birth and postpartum journey. I’ll support you with a calm presence, a desire to serve, and careful preparation to bring the most peaceful experience possible to life.

When I’m Not Doula-ing

I’m spending time with my fur babies, exercising, creating, spending time with family & friends, and indulging in my guilty pleasure… BRAVO shows!
