Cydney’s career as doula was inspired by attending the birth of her second niece nearly 14 years ago. Cydney was her older sister’s labor companion at the time and attended several childbirth education classes. It was during this experience Cydney realized how amazing and even magical the birth process is. She loved supporting her sister during the experience and wanted to pursue a career in birth work. Cydney has always worked in industries where serving others is the priority and becoming a doula is no different. She now gets to do that on a more personal level and build closer relationships during such a transformative moment in a parent’s life.

Cydney believes that every birthing person should have the birth they desire. And while that may not always be perfectly possible, Cydney’s primary goal is to ensure that her clients are supported, encouraged, educated, and loved and babies are brought into the world safely and peacefully.  

Cydney is certified through bebo mia Inc. She is also a certified Pregnancy and Infant Loss (PAIL) Advocate. She currently travels between Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota and Omaha/Lincoln metro, Nebraska and Council Bluffs, Iowa where she serves her clients.
