Birth Doula:
A birth doula is a trained professional who provides continuous support from physical, emotional, educational, support to birthing persons and their partner before, during, and after labor. A birth doula recognizes birth as a key experience in a birthing person’s life, assist the birthing person carry out their birth preferences, and perceives their role as someone who is nurturing and protecting the birthing person’s experience and memory of the birth experience.

This package includes:
3 prenatal meetings that include going over your birth plan and preferences, comfort measures.
Childbirth basics education*
Unlimited text/phone call/email support starting at date of hire.
24/7 on-call support after 36 weeks gestation.
In-person labor and birth support at your birth place.
Back-up doula support at no additional cost
2 hours immediate postpartum support at birth location.
postpartum preparation and breast/chest feeding and lactation education and support.
2 postpartum visits once you’re home (approx 1 hour at each appointment).
Additional postpartum support is available at an hourly rate.

This package includes:

All consulting and visits will be done virtually.
Get answers to your questions about medical interventions, birth options, assistance with a birth plan, comfort measures.
All questions can be answered during a virtual session if you are unsure if you would like to hire an in-person doula and would like assistance on birthing topics online.
This does not include virtual support during labor and birth but can be added at an additional cost.

Birth Planning Session

This 1-hour session helps answer questions you may have about the kind of birth experience you desire. We’ll discuss the available options to you, center your values and wishes in creating your birth plan, and coach and support you to advocate for yourself and your own birth desires.

Postpartum Planning session
$100
This 1-2 hour session helps you plan and prepare for the postpartum period (commonly known as the “fourth trimester”). Instead of focusing on the proverbial “bounce back,” we focus on wellness and recovery, what to expect, meal planning, scheduling, and calling in additional support from family, friends, and your community.
You’ll receive:

Wellness recovery guide and when to call your provider
Newborn care guide
Scheduling household responsibilities
List of postpartum mental health resources and guide
